We have easy access to beautiful walking trails surrounding McLane Creek Nature Trail right from our neighborhood.  The Nature Trail is a great place for bird and beaver watching.  Beatty Creek and McLane Creek, both with healthy chum salmon runs, flow near Cougar Ridge.
